FRO AND ISO UNIT AND 8 YEARS LATER

I want to warn people who are applying for child support via the FRO and the ISO unit (International support order). I have had bad experiences in my life but this one is in the top 2. My daughter was 10 when i first started a child support claim against her policeman father in the UK. This was in 2003. It is now 2011 and i have received one cheque even though he has been paying each month into the FRO since August 2010 and all this money has been withheld except for one cheque i received in April 2011. They have been rude, non sympathetic, uncaring, lost my registered documents and never apologised, hung up phones, never answered my complaints to managment and after the order was served in 2007 at the correct address the father took it to the court and said he did not live there. He did live there!. After this i had to pay a private investigator to prove to the FRO that he did live there. That cost me 400 hundred dollars. Eventually after dealing with only the courts themselves (as the FRO do not help at all)  over the past 2 years, which you are not supposed to do he eventually got served in 2010. There are 5 parts to my court order and none have been fulfilled to date. He has been paying a small amount of arrears which the FRO have held on to. I have complained to the Ombudsman and they did not help at all either. They only told me what i already knew. Our daughter is now almost 18 and i started filling in forms when she was 10. She has missed out on her child hood, the case is still on going he is back in court in June 2011 and going by his 4 appearences nothing will be done. This is a man that has not paid a penny to his daughter since she was 6 he has never even put a stamp on a birthday or christmas card. I left him because he was wife and child beater and the only one who has suffered is his daughter and myself to fight for her rights to receive child support. I just want others to realise what the FRO is all about and maybe stop this happening to others.
Thank you for reading this.
